As part of a global change programme, Smiths Consulting was commissioned by one of the world’s leading semiconductor system solutions providers to provide governance and SAP solution architecture for the programme in Europe.
Smiths Scope:
- MANAGED the Pan European SAP ERP implementation, undertaken by local SAP support partner
- PROVIDED governance for the integration with global SCM, SFM and HR solutions
- IMPLEMENTED the required system modifications, interfaces and process changes in order to support the new global supply chain management, logistics, HR and Sales Force Management solutions of the wider programme
- MANAGED key challenges including:
- Global Data Harmonisation and product labelling involved a complex system cutover
- Co-ordination and governance across multiple time zones; Europe, US and Japan
