Smiths Consulting Sponsor Winning Team in Somerset County Women’s Football League

Smiths Consulting will continue to sponsor the Shepton Mallet Women’s Football Team following a successful 2nd season, where the novice team rose to the challenge and achieved a fantastic end of season result. With one game remaining, the team has won the Somerset County 2nd Division Title.

The women’s football team, formed in 2008 and managed by Smiths Consultant, Richard Black, finished bottom of the County League in their debut 2008/09 season. Since the 2010 League restructure into two divisions, the team has transformed and achieved increasing success. Smiths Consulting is proud to support an improving women’s football team and is confident that their good results will continue.
