Smiths Sponsorship for Junior British Alpine Racer
Management consultancy, Smiths Consulting will continue to sponsor junior British Alpine racer, Tim Dannatt, for a second ski season. The sponsorship was extended following Tim’s successful 2009 season and selection for the English Schools Ski Team.
The support of Smiths Consulting has enabled Tim to participate in regular training and racing, which contributed to him being offered a place in the England School team - his first big achievement of his skiing career. It is hoped that continued sponsorship over the next 12 months with allow Tim to progress further and enjoy continued success.
This season has seen Tim, who skis for Gloucester Ski Club, Dragons Alpine Racing, British Ski Academy (BSA) and the English Schools Ski Team, compete in the Slalom and Giant Slalom at the World Schools Championships in Folgaria, the Senior and Junior British Championships in Meribel and the Scottish FIS Championships in Courcheval.
